An Ipswich Town defender has announced his engagement to a former Love Island star on social media.

Harry Clarke, who has spent the season on loan at Charlton Athletic, has got engaged to reality star girlfriend Georgia Steel.

The duo shared a video of the scenic proposal on the beach, with Steel saying: "A million times yes.

"In this lifetime and the next.

"I still can't believe we get to do forever together. You're everything I dreamed of and more, my person."

Clarke reposted the video and wrote: "Couldn't be any happier, so proud of who you are and to now call you my fiancée."

The couple were first linked in September 2024 and they confirmed their romance on Instagram in spring 2025.

Steel, 28, first appeared on Love Island in 2018 in the fourth series of the ITV2 show.

Clarke, 25, joined Ipswich for an undisclosed fee from Arsenal in January 2023 and went on to be an integral part of the double promotion-winning side.
