Ed Sheeran wowed hundreds of people on Ipswich Waterfront on Friday morning as he performed some of his biggest hits at an impromptu gig.
Fans gathered outside the front of the University of Suffolk building after Sheeran teased an appearance on social media on Thursday evening.
On arrival, there was a sea of people waiting, with lots of security and two microphones set up, against the backdrop of the marina.

Speaking to fans, many had been there since as early as 7-7.30am so that they could get a good vantage point, with people also looking out the University and nearby flat windows.
Lianne Kaye appeared first and performed three songs, two original and Lego House, before the Suffolk singer-songwriter came out and performed a duet of Thinking Out Loud.
He then performed some of his biggest songs, including The A Team, Perfect, Shivers, Bad Habits, Photograph and Shape of You.

Who was the performer supporting Ed Sheeran at Ipswich Waterfront?
The crowd were loving his performances, with many singing, lots of phones out to capture the moment, and people just enjoying what was happening.

He performed for around 40 minutes before saying his goodbyes to the crowd, and giving one of the Orange Amps, who he was there for launching a collaboration, to a young member of the crowd.
It was a great morning on Ipswich Waterfront, one that many who were in attendance will remember for a long time.
It's another example of Sheeran doing something great for his home county, following on from his impromptu gig on the steps of the Town Hall in the Cornhill a few years back and his three-night stint at Portman Road last year.
