The group will aim to impress the Taskmaster himself, Greg Davies, with tasks set by his assistant and series creator Alex Horne.

Known for appearing in the IT crowd and various panel programs, Ayoade has recently moved into game shows, appearing in the first season of Last One Lasting UK in 2025.

He lost the final to Bob Mortimer, who won the fifth season of Taskmaster in 2017.

Season 22 will air later this year, after filming wrapped in early months of 2026.
