Tributes have been paid to a 32-year-old man who was always "smiling" and loved to travel.

Almost a year on from his death aged 32, the inquest of Rhyan Magor was brought to a close before Suffolk Coroners’ Court on Thursday.

Rhyan, said close friend Tim Williams, had an "infectious smile" and readily shared everything he had with those around him, even when he did not have much himself.

"I’ve never had a friend like that," said Mr Williams. The two of them grew up in Bramford – both "Bramford boys", he said – and attended Claydon High School together.

Also attending Rhyan’s inquest were his brother, Clint, and his mother, Pamela Magor.

She described her son as a "loveable, happy, smiling person who was always willing to help anyone."

His loss, she said, has left the family "heartbroken."

Rhyan loved travel, and had visited Florida with his brother, as well as holidaying in places such as Ibiza, Spain, and Amsterdam.

He had a love of music, particularly drum and bass, and enjoyed DJing, having done so since his teenage years.

A fundraiser started for Rhyan’s funeral quickly amassed more than £6,500, with the service packed full of people who all remembered him fondly.

Rhyan died suddenly at his home in Claydon on August 18 last year, aged 32.

The coroner, Olivia Rose, heard evidence that he was suffering from an unknown congenital narrowing of his aorta and delivered a narrative conclusion.
