A pub wall is damaged following a crash earlier this week.

The Golf Hotel, based in Rushmere, near Ipswich, had its wall damaged in a crash on Tuesday morning.

Officers from Suffolk police attended the incident at 1.30pm, along with the ambulance service, after reports of the vehicle driving through the wall.

The pub remains open according to Google and its social media page, despite fencing being put up around the damage.

It's the second crash into an Ipswich business reported in the last two days, after a Mini collided with the EACH charity shop on Wednesday.

The crash left extensive damage to the shop front, with one nearby shop owner saying: "I think we are very lucky we are in the school holiday and there were no children on the paths."

Greene King, which owns the Golf Hotel, has been contacted for comment.
