POLCE are appealing for a man to come forward after he was involved in a fight in which a 48-year-old sustained serious head injuries.

Detectives said they wanted to speak to a 27-year-old in relation to the fight near The Gardeners pub in Forsythia Close, Chelmsford on Sunday night, shortly before 10pm.
The victim, who lives locally, was taken to Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford and is in a serious but stable condition.
A police spokesman said: “We are looking to speak to a 27-year-old from the town centre. We know who he is and where he lives and we are sure he knows we are looking for him.”
Any witnesses to the fight, especially people who were in the pub between 9pm and 10pm, should call police on 01245 491212.
