The university said the new Higher Education Statistics Agency figures were above national average and were “tremendously satisfying”.

A score of 94.5% was recorded for the university in the key Destination of Leavers from Higher Education statistic, it reported.

Professor Mohammad Dastbaz, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, said: “Career development and employability are at the heart of the university’s mission to prepare students for a world where change is the only constant. The ability to change, evolve, succeed, and change again, is the marker of long-term success and the hallmark of a Suffolk graduate.

“This is a tremendously satisfying outcome for the University and perfect timing ahead of our summer Open Day this Saturday (today) – to which anyone interested in studying with us is welcome to come. It demonstrates the dedication of our staff, the quality of our graduates, the strong connections we have with local, regional and international employers, and the distinctive style of education we offer at Suffolk.

“Our courses are designed with employability in mind, and our students are encouraged to get involved in as many extracurricular activities as possible to enhance their employability.

“This result reflects our commitment to students and the positive impact we have on our communities. We are delighted.”
