SOUTH East Ipswich Cage Bird Society held its annual open event at Great Blakenham Village Hall.A change of venue, and a different date affected the number of entries despite all this, the standard of exhibits was high.

A change of venue, and a different date affected the number of entries despite all this, the standard of exhibits was high.
The best in show award at the weekend was given to Neil Prentice's Green Singing Finch. Second to this was novice exhibitor Terry Brown with his Norwich Canary.
The Junior section was won with a Fife Fancy Canary bred by Ben Calvesbert.
