A12 car overturns

A SECTION of the A12 was temporarily closed today after a Jaguar car spun off the road and overturned.

The accident happened at Martlesham, near the Foxhall Road junction, on the Woodbridge-bound carriageway at about 3pm.

The accident happened at Martlesham, near the Foxhall Road junction, on the Woodbridge-bound carriageway at about 3pm.

Police were forced to close one lane for approximately an hour while the car was recovered.

The vehicle was only occupied by a male driver and no other vehicles were involved.

Details of the man's injuries are still unknown but they are not thought to be serious.

Fire crews also helped in the clear-up.
