TRAFFIC on the A12 was diverted today after an elderly man crashed his car into the central reservation at Capel St Mary.
TRAFFIC on the A12 was diverted today after an elderly man crashed his car into the central reservation at Capel St Mary.
A man in his 70s lost control of his red Renault Megane coupe at 2.45pm while travelling towards Ipswich.
The road was blocked and traffic was diverted via Washbrook.
The man was taken to Ipswich Hospital with minor injuries
The accident only involved a single vehicle. Passers by reported a coach being involved to police but the coach had in fact stopped after the accident to help the victim.
