SUFFOLK'S main through route was this afternoon running smoothly again after a double crash caused lengthy tailbacks earlier in the day.
Police said the A14 had been cleared following the crashes on the Ipswich-bound carriageway near Seven Hills, Nacton.
A DAF lorry, which is thought to have suffered a tyre blow-out, and a Citroen Saxo, which crashed trying to avoid the lorry, had both been removed by recovery vehicles and other debris had been swept off the road.
