POLICE have shut part of the A14 following a two vehicle accident in which debris is believed to have fallen onto the carriageway.The collision happened around 7pm tonight on the westbound track between Copdock and Wherstead.
POLICE had to shut part of the A14 tonight after two cars hit debris that had fallen onto the carriageway.
The collision happened around 7pm on the westbound track between Copdock and Wherstead.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said they believe palettes had fallen into the road and that two cars had collided with them on the carriageway.
The road was closed for around an hour while the road was cleared and no one was believed to have been hurt in the incident.
