TRAFFIC is flowing freely on the A14 again following an accident involving a tanker carrying liquid nitrogen today.
Both lanes of the carriageway near to the junction with the A140 were closed following the collision between the tanker and the central reservation at around 12.50pm.
There were concerns that the potentially hazardous chemicals could have leaked out of the tanker.
The recovery of the vehicle, which was travelling towards Ipswich, took more than three hours.
However, a police spokesman confirmed both lanes were now open and flowing freely.
