Police have re-opened a lane of the A14 after a vehicle went down the embarkment on the road at the turning for Copdock.
Officers were called just after 1pm after a Volkswagen Golf collided with a lorry.
A police spokeswoman said it “did not look serious” but congestion on the road was building.
A recovery team has taken the car away, and all lanes are now open again.
One ambulance attended the scene the scene and checked over the patients, but no further treatment was required.
A second incident was recorded happening at 2.30pm on the road, also at Copdock and in the east-bound direction.
A lorry collided with a black Ford Focus. The spokeswoman said no-one was injured but the incident was causing tailbacks.
