EMERGENCY services have been called to a number of accidents this morning on Suffolk's roads.

A 30-year-old man escaped uninjured when his car went in to a hedge in Coddenham Road in Creeting St Mary today.

The incident happened at about 8.40am but the driver did not suffer any injuries.

The East of England Ambulance Service attended but they did not take him to hospital.

At 8.20am paramedics took a 25-year-old motorcyclist to the James Paget Hospital with leg injuries after a collision with a car on Christmas Lane, Metfield, near Halesworth.

A motorist also suffered minor injuries when their car ended up on its side on the B1106 at Santon Downham, near Thetford.

The East of England Ambulance Service was called to the scene around 6.15am but did not take anyone to hospital.

The motorist only suffered minor injuries and was able to get out of their car after the accident, which involved one vehicle.
