EMERGENCY services were called to a three vehicle collision on the A1071 at Hadleigh today.The crash happened about 11.30am and three fire engines were called to the scene.

EMERGENCY services attended a three vehicle collision on the A1071 between Hintlesham and Hadleigh today.

The crash happened about 11.30am and three fire engines were called to the scene.

The air ambulance was called after reports one person had suffered severe injuries.

However, it is now thought that no one has suffered life threatening injuries in the crash.

A woman, believed to be in her 60s, was taken to hospital with possible head injuries.

A woman in her 40s was also taken to hospital.

The road was blocked but has now reopened.
