Hundreds of people made the trip to Trinity Park today to enjoy an Easter Sunday day out with their dogs.

The All About Dogs event is an annual staple at the showground and it was awash with pooches of various breeds and their owners enjoying the stalls and entertainment.

These included arena displays, for specially trained canines to show off their skills, have a go activities, dog shows and trade stands.

There was also a main stage in the village green area, new for this year, where dog experts gave a series of talks to the crowd, while there was also music from Britain’s Got Talent stars Pippa and Buddy.

Fairground rides and inflatables provided entertainment for younger children and there was the chance to meet and talk to owners of a host of different dog breeds.

The All About Dogs show also runs tomorrow at Trinity Park until 5pm. Parking is free and entry costs £14 for adults and £8 for children.
