POLICE have appealed for witnesses after a 12-year-old boy was set upon near Gainsborough Road, Stowmarket.The incident occurred at approximately 4.45pm yesterday.
POLICE have appealed for witnesses after a 12-year-old boy was set upon near Gainsborough Road, Stowmarket.
The incident occurred at approximately 4.45pm yesterday.
The youngster was walking along the footpath when he was approached from behind by three youths who knocked his hand causing him to drop his mobile phone.
One of the group grabbed hold of the boy while another stamped on his phone. They then made fun of him before running off.
The culprits are described as white, between 16-17 years of age, one was 5'4" tall and the other two were 5'8" tall, all wearing dark hooded sweatshirts (one with 'Slipknot' written in white and the other two with 'Limp Bizkit' in red).
