Yes, disabled youngster JJ Anslow and her schoolfriends are back in the swim – thanks to kind-hearted Evening Star readers.
Today Heathside School in Ipswich is celebrating because it at last has the swimming pool hoist which it so desperately needed so that all its pupils can enjoy having fun in the water.
And it's all thanks to groups and individuals from across the Ipswich and Felixstowe areas whose hearts were touched by the children's plight and have given so generously to raise the money needed for the special equipment.
Tonight the Evening Star, Heathside School and all its pupils, parents and supporters say a special thank you to everyone who contributed.
