Once one of the most recognisable places in Ipswich as the place to be on a Friday and Saturday night, Libertys saw thousands of clubbers pass through its doors across the late 80s and early 90s.

Positioned on Tacket Street, the club was a stone’s throw away from the centre of town which made it the prime location for people travelling from outside of Ipswich, alongside the locals that packed the dancefloors and bars on a weekly basis.

Competing with Hollywood’s at the time, Libertys hosted regular themed nights and had several guest appearances across its lifetime.
