TWO robbers today carried out an armed raid on a Suffolk post office.The incident happened in The Street, Barton Mills, near Mildenhall and one man was believed to be holding a shotgun, with the other man holding an axe.
TWO robbers today carried out an armed raid on a Suffolk post office.
The incident happened in The Street, Barton Mills, near Mildenhall and one man was believed to be holding a shotgun, with the other man holding an axe.
A police spokesman said: "Two men, both wearing dark clothing, and one carrying what appeared to be a shotgun and the other carrying what is described as an axe entered the post office just after 5pm.
"They left the scene in an estate car and headed in the direction of the A11."
It is not yet known what was stolen but no one was injured in the incident.
