POLICE are hunting two men – believed to have been armed with a gun and an axe - who today robbed a Newmarket post office.
Suffolk police said the men, who were both wearing balaclavas, entered Exning Road post office around 5.20pm.
One is believed to have been carrying a gun while the other is thought to have had an axe.
The robbers threatened staff, before making off with a quantity of cash in a beige, G-registration Ford Granada car.
Nobody was injured in the incident.
