TWO men have been arrested following an assault in Bury St Edmunds which has left a man fighting for his life.
The men, aged 22 and 23, both from the Bury St Edmunds area, were arrested by Suffolk police officers today on suspicion on causing grievous bodily harm.
The 40-year-old man who was assaulted in the town around 3am yesterday remains in a critical condition in Addenbrooke's Hospital.
