AN investigation is underway today in to an attempted, armed robbery at Ruskin Road post office in Ipswich.Police said that at approximately 9.40am today a man entered the post office.
AN investigation is underway today in to an attempted, armed robbery at Ruskin Road post office in Ipswich.
Police said that at approximately 9.40am today a man entered the post office. He approached staff and demanded money while threatening them with what appeared to be a handgun.
The offender was refused any money and he left the scene.
He is described as a black male in his mid 20's, he was wearing a padded navy blue hooded jacket, dark jeans and white trainers.
Police would like anyone who was in the area at the time and who saw anything to contact Ipswich CID on 01473 383133 or Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
