A BABY has today been rescued from a locked car by firefighters in Ipswich.
One crew from Princes Street were called to the incident in John's Street at about 11.50am to reports of a child being locked in a car.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue service said the baby was believed to be four months old.
The baby was released from the vehicle within 10 minutes by firefighters at the scene.
