IPSWICH: Sixth form students at St. Josephs College will welcome a distinguished political guest to their school today.
Baroness Scott, President of the Liberal Democrats, will visit the school from 4.15pm.
She will discuss her work at parliament with the students and her political achievements.
Baroness Scott was a Liberal Democrat councillor in Suffolk from 1991 to 2005, serving at both District and County level.
In 2000 she was created a life peer as Baroness Scott of Needham Market.
Last year she stood down as the Liberal Democrat Spokesperson for Communities and Local Government to concentrate on being a candidate to be President of the party.
