Glenn Williamson, 35, bought a property off Lower Brook Street for £120,000 at auction in September.

The camera crews followed him around after he got the keys and first inspected it. He wanted to convert the previous office building into two serviced apartments suitable for short-term corporate lets.

Now after spending £35,000, the floors have been reconfigured to create a modern contemporary feel with new fixtures and fittings.

Mr Williamson, of Williamson Partnership, said: “Dion Dublin had started as a new presenter and being an Ipswich fan and with him having played for Norwich, we had good banter.

“I am very pleased with how the project went and think it’s great that it was selected by the BBC for filming.”

On Tuesday, the TV crew visited Mr Williamson, who also owns the coffee house Cool Beanz in Ipswich, with estate agents to value the property.

The estimated value of the property, following the conversion, is £220,000.
