A MINI version of Crufts, an assault course, teddy bear hospital, and a competition to find the dog with the “waggiest” tail will be some of the attractions at Otley College's Big Day Out.

It is the third year the college has held the event, which takes place from 10am to 5pm at the main campus on Saturday .

Admission is free and other attractions will include a bucking bronco, bouncy castle, riding competitions in the Otley Horse Centre, a windsurf simulator, radio-controlled cars, stalls, a farmers' market, nature walks, and craft fayre.

Organiser of this event, Joanne Cartwright, said: “This is the third time that we have put on an event of this scale and we are hoping that this years Big Day Out will improve on the thousands of visitors that came to see us last year.

“There really will be something for everyone this year and we are looking forward to welcoming people of all ages to the college.

“In the last few years, the college is changed beyond all recognition when compared to our beginnings. The Big Day Out is an opportunity for people to come and see these changes for themselves whilst having a fun day out for all the family at the same time.”
