SUFFOLK Coastal council has suspended its bin collections today due to the severe weather conditions.
Brown bin collections are being suspended for the foreseeable future until conditions improve.
Any food waste can be placed in the grey-lidded bin or black sacks.
“Weather permitting, we will try and catch up with Friday's collection on Monday,” said a council spokesman.
“Residents due for collections today and on Monday are asked to leave their bins out - but not the brown bin - on Monday and we will try to get to as many of them as possible.”

Ipswich Borough Council refuse collections are going ahead as normal.
However, there are some roads which are difficult for the refuse vehicles and crew to get down safely.
“If your usual collection is missed please leave the bin/bag out and the crew will return when possible,” said a borough council spokesman.
Household waste and recycling centres are open and any excess waste and recyclables can be taken to the sites at Portmans Walk or Foxhall.
