RULES restricting the cordon zones and control measures surrounding the Suffolk bird flu outbreak will be reviewed today and tomorrow by the European Union.
Suffolk and Norfolk Euro MP Richard Howitt is demanding European authorities make an urgent review into reports that the contamination could have come from Hungary or other EU member country.
He said: “This outbreak is threatening the livelihoods of poultry farmers across Norfolk and Suffolk, as well as workers at the Matthews factory. Europe must act swift and decisively to ensure compensation is paid to everyone afflicted.”
