An overnight break-in at the Bistro on the Quay restaurant in Ipswich has been reported to police.
It is believed nothing was stolen at the restaurant in Wherry Quay during the burglary, which took place in the early hours of Monday, police said.
The suspect, or suspects, broke in at the back of the restaurant and the burglary was reported to police shortly after 8.15am this morning, a Suffolk Constabulary spokesman added.
The force spokesman confirmed officers are not currently linking the break-in to any other incident.
A spokesman for the restaurant declined to comment.
