A BARN containing straw was destroyed today in a fire at a Suffolk farm.The fire broke out in the barn at Pond Farm in Church Road, Barham, just before 1pm.
A BARN containing straw was destroyed today in a fire at a Suffolk farm.
The fire broke out in the barn at Pond Farm in Church Road, Barham, just before 1pm.
Fire crews from Needham Market and Ipswich tackled the flames but were unable to stop the blaze destroying the building.
The damage was so serious the flames caused the structure to collapse.
Also this afternoon, a crew from the Princes Street fire station in Ipswich was called to a fire in a car in St Margaret's Street.
The fire was quickly brought under control.
