INVESTIGATIONS are underway today to see if a body found in the river Orwell is that of missing Ipswich teenager Daniel Long.
Daniel was last seen on Saturday near the bridge.
Last night Harwich inshore lifeboat recovered the body of a man from the water near the bridge after searching the area, together with Suffolk police and Felixstowe coastguard.
Police were today continuing to investigate the death, which they are treating as 'unexplained' rather than suspicious and said it was too early to say whether the body was that of Daniel.
