FIRE crews from Halesworth and Stradbroke were called to a roof fire at Heveningham Hall at 7.40am today.It took them just over an hour to put out the fire which started in a boiler and caused part of the roof to burn.
FIRE crews from Halesworth and Stradbroke were called to a roof fire at Heveningham Hall at 7.40am today.
It took them just over an hour to put out the fire which started in a boiler and caused part of the roof to burn. A Suffolk fire service spokesman said crews brought the blaze under control by tackling it from the roof above the boiler.
