BOMB disposal experts were today called to investigate a suspect package at Ipswich sorting office.
Staff at the post office in Commercial Road, were alerted to a ticking sound coming from a brown package at about 3am.
The package was placed in the bomb tube located in the yard and the premises were evacuated.
Having investigated the package, bomb disposal experts found the item to be an electronic toy with its batteries left in.
