A MAJOR rescue operation has been launched after a nine-year-old boy was swept away after slipping into a fast-flowing river in Snowdonia.
A MAJOR rescue operation has been launched after a nine-year-old boy was swept away after slipping into a fast-flowing river in Snowdonia.
The boy's mum called for help when her son slipped as he walked along a footpath by the river near the Conwy Falls hotel.
At the height of the search, more than 60 people were involved in the search the boy, who is from Norwich.
