A FURIOUS driver assaulted a young boy after the he was almost in collision with his car in Felixstowe.
The 6ft 4ins driver chased the 14-year-old boy and two of his friends after the near-collision in Mill Lane.
And when he caught up with the youngster the shaven headed 18 to 20-year-old assaulted the boy, leaving him with a cut under his eye.
The boy had been walking home with his two friends at about 7pm on Saturday . While crossing the road near the traffic lights in Mill Lane, one of the youngsters was almost in collision with the man's dark red estate car.
The car then turned around in the road and the driver got out and chased the three teenagers until he caught up with the 14-year-old and assaulted him.
Police are appealing for the man involved and any witnesses to call them and are also appealing for anyone recognising the description of the man to get in touch by calling PC Goddard at Felixstowe Police on 01473 613500, or call Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
