FIREFIGHTERS were called into action last night to free a six-year-old boy who had become stuck in a washing machine.Crews were called to The Tythings, Halstead, shortly after 7.10pm.
FIREFIGHTERS were called into action last night to free a six-year-old boy who had become stuck in a washing machine.
Crews were called to The Tythings, Halstead, shortly after 7.10pm.
The youngster had climbed into the washing machine and could not get out and firefighters were able to manoeuvre him so they could release him without having to cut the machine.
He is believed to have been unhurt and was left in the care of his mother by 7.35pm.
A crew from Halstead and a rescue tender from Colchester attended the incident.
