Boy taken to Ipswich Hospital after colliding with car in Bramford Road

A young child is being treated for suspected head injuries after colliding with a car in Ipswich.
Police were called to the junction of Bramford Road and Prospect Road at 4.15pm to reports of crash involving a Vauxhall Zafira.
Paramedics treated the boy, believed to be aged four, for suspected head injuries and took him to Ipswich Hospital for further care.
A spokeswoman for the East of England Ambulance Service said his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
A police investigation into the collision is now underway and any witnesses are asked to call Suffolk police on 101 quoting CAD 277.
