Love was in the air at a Suffolk care home as residents enjoyed a Valentine’s Day treat.
Bucklesham Grange care home was decorated with fresh roses and confetti and each of the 65 residents was given flowers and a card from members of staff.
The care home chef also baked up a heart-shaped cake and in the afternoon residents helped decorate cookies.
Tanya Finch, life style assistant at the care home, said the staff had great fun presenting the residents with gifts.
She added: “It was nice to remind them that even though they have a loving family, we are their family too and are there for them.
“We think our residents really appreciated the gesture, and the roses will make a really nice keepsake and reminder of the activity.”
