POLICE are today on the hunt for a stolen First World War medal which was taken from the bedroom of an Ipswich 90-year-old.
The elderly man left his bungalow in Gleneagles Drive at around 7.10pm yesterday to visit a neighbour and the burglar entered through the unlocked back door and took the medal, money and a box of personal documents.
Suffolk police today linked the burglary to four distraction burglaries targeting elderly people in the county which also happened yesterday, including another in the same road.
