A SHOPKEEPER has been forced to dump a load of new stock which was showered with glass when a man with sledgehammer attacked his premises.Gary Paddick, who owns Go Large and Fella's Menswear in Hamilton Road, Felixstowe, today spoke of his anger at the damage - and said he was mystified as to why his store was targeted.

Police said a small red car pulled up outside and a white man wearing a blue baseball cap got out and smashed the plate glass window at the front of the shop.
Mr Paddick said the vandalism left a two-feet wide circular hole in the window and caused £1,000 damage.
“I just cannot understand why someone would do that - it's very weird,” he said.
“Someone has deliberately targeted my shop.
“It's been premeditated and someone has come here, pulled up outside and smashed the window. It's not like a drunk walking past and then just randomly attacking a shop.”
Mr Paddick said while the damage to the window was frustrating, the worst part was the damage to clothing in the window.
“I had just put in the new spring and summer stock and there was glass shards everywhere - the clothes were covered,” he said.
“We Hoovered up five times and we were still finding tiny pieces of glass.
“There is no way you can sell stock like that and it will just have to be dumped - it's useless. The whole thing is a nightmare.”
A police spokeswoman said the incident happened at about 2.30am on Sunday, March 2. They may have been a woman present during that attack, too.
