On your marks, get set, bake! That is the challenge for people wanting to get involved with St Elizabeth Hospice’s first St Lizzy’s Festive Cake Off.
The five-day fundraising event will see local firms hold a series of bake sales to raise money for the local charity, which is hoping to raise £10,000 from the initiative.
Sarah Archer, fundraising partnerships manager at the hospice, said: “Christmas is such a fantastic time of year for food, with people preparing all sorts of treats for their families.
“We thought it would be a great idea to bring some of this festive joy into people’s offices, while raising money for the hospice.”
