Customers of a town centre jewellery store will be able to join in a champagne celebration tomorrow when it is relaunched following the completion of a major makeover.
Hill’s Jewellers, which has been in Felixstowe since 1925, has carried out the work to modernise the store over the past 18 months.
Paul Harris-Magri, who took over the shop in 2006, said: “Even though we had some major work to do – such as the new windows so we can see out past the cabinets – we managed to stay open until last week when the floor was done and we could avoid it no longer and had to close for two days.
“The shop looks amazing now and I am sure customers will be as thrilled as us.”
The shop in Orwell Road, will be relaunched at 9am by Margaret Harris, president of the National Association of Goldsmiths, at a champagne ceremony. The day will include a tea party, goody bags for customers, a prize draw, and 20% off almost all stock.
