Aqua Eight Fusion Restaurant and Bar in Lion Street, Ipswich, has won the title of “UK Best Restaurant” in the National Lifestyle and Luxury Awards 2014, after going head-to-head with some of the country’s most prestigious restaurants. The Awards represented the combined opinions of thousands of readers of Chelsea Monthly, a luxury lifestyle magazine targeting London residents.
Owner Vincent Wing Cheung said: “We’re incredibly proud to bring this national award home to Ipswich. Thank you to all our supporters who voted for us in the finals. We hope this award helps the county town of Suffolk to become even better known as a must-visit centre of excellence for fine food.”
Aqua Eight Fusion Restaurant and Bar is at 8 Lion Street, Ipswich and was established in 2007 by brothers Vincent & Patrick Wing Cheung.
Aqua Eight’s elegant premises bring a touch of Mayfair to Ipswich and the restaurant serves a fusion of pan-Asian flavours, mixing the best elements of Far Eastern cuisine with ancient family recipes handed down through the generations.
