Law firm Prettys is taking part in National Pro-bono Week 2016 (November 7-11) as part of their commitment to offer 110 hours of pro-bono service to mark their 110th anniversary.

The pro-bono appointments will be allocated by the Ipswich and Suffolk Council for Racial Equality (ISCRE) and will take place every day of pro-bono week.

Throughout the year, Prettys has offered pro-bono advice to the Suffolk Association of Local Councils and to ISCRE on an ongoing basis. Prettys is also allocating time for additional fundraising for the Papworth Trust.

Ian Seeley, associate, Prettys said: “We have supported National Pro-bono Week for a number of years, and this year, to mark our 110th anniversary, we have increased the amount of time we are offering our advice on a pro-bono basis to local organisations.”

Pro-bono means - for the public good, and usually refers to unpaid community service or charity work.
