An ex-political lobbyist has launched his own PR firm after his seven-year-old daughter persuaded him to quit his London job.
Richard Porritt, who worked for a law firm in London, has set up PR firm it’s RED with wife, Ellen, from their seaside home near Woodbridge.
“As the weather has improved I have even taken my laptop out on to the beach,” said Richard, an ex-news editor at the East Anglian Daily Times. “Of course a lot of our business is still London-based but the way people work is changing and I don’t need to be in the City full time.”
