Poundland keeps on growing
Discount chain Poundland, which has 528 stores, said total sales of £997.8 million for the year to March 30 were 13.3% higher than a year earlier. It opened a net figure of 70 new stores in the period and said it remains on track for underlying profits in line with the current market consensus of £27 million.
