Fundraisers will slip on their walking shoes this weekend for a stroll around an Ipswich park in support of two charities.
The event will take place at Christchurch Park tomorrow in aid of ActivLives and the Lions Club of Ipswich.
Charity chiefs are calling on people of all ages to join them for the ramble, which will start at 11.15am.
Registration will be at the park’s Reg Driver Centre between 10.30am and 11am and there is a minimum donation of £5 for adults and £2.50 for children.
There is also a quiz, raffle and cake sale, with the event ending at 1.30pm.
Julie Stokes, ActivLives chief executive, said: “This is a joint fundraising event to help two local charities continue to support local projects and keep our activity sessions open and accessible.”
ActivLives is based in Ipswich and helps people stay fit and social, while Lions Club of Ipswich supports local causes.
