Car catches fire in Martlesham in early hours this morning

Fire crews were called out in the early hours of the morning today after a car caught fire on Foxhall Road, near to the A12 roundabout in Martlesham.

One fire engine from the Ipswich East station attended, and used one hosereel to extinguish the flames while wearing breathing apparatus.

The fire had been brought under control by 1.09am and crews had left the scene by 1.20am.
